Another 5 Fab Things Post!

Ramiz says:

  1. I can open my eyes underwater. I can do this because I have very good eyesight.

  1. I can walk through my house with my eyes closed and not bump anything. I can do this because I have lived in my house for six years.

  1. I can dislocate my thumb!! I have no idea why I can do this!!

  1. After a operation in 2006 I did not eat for 2 days in a row

  1. When I was 3 years old I drank 3 bottles of beer I thought it was coke so that is why I drank it!!!!

Guess which one is fake!!! 

Kesaia:
  1. I can make two or three people be my friend on my second day at a new school! I am always nice to people.
  2. I can run for 4 whole minutes! Because I am fit and I run every day after school.
  3. I can play all of the Ps2 games and I can play Eye-Toy.
  4. I can sing “Irreplaceable” without stopping.
  5. I can walk on water and do a back flip!
Momtahina:
This seems weird but it is true!-

1.        I am a hypo freak because I totally love driving my family and friends crazy and I love jumping all over the place.
2.        Once I read books 11 hours straight because my mum went out, my dad was sleeping, my sisters and brother were fighting so I was bored so I read.
3.        I don’t know my parents age - I never ask them and even if they tell me I never keep track ! You know I really cant be bothered to even ask them because I am not interested.
4.        I’ve watched  Harry Potter about 38 times this year because I can never get enough of it.
5.        I can play the piano with my forehead perfectly.

Dushan:

1. I can do a gymnastic trick which only a few people in this school can do (I don’t train in Gymnastics and I don’t even know the name of the trick!)

2. I can sing the Acon song (Smack That) 10 times faster than the original.

3. I can do a front flip into the pool ( only 40 cm above the water).

4. I can make an extremely high note singing.

5. Once I got run over by a car and broke my right foot and left arm.

Mikhaila

1. Once I read books for 6 hours because I was bored and I had nothing to do!

2. I’ve watched the movie “Nightmare Before Christmas” 89 times because it is my favourite movie and it never makes me bored.

3. I can sing the chorus of “Hit Me Up” 10 times without stopping because  I love that song and I know it off by heart.

4. I can water ski while my tongue is in my nose because I learnt how to jetski when I was 8.

5. I’ve directed 7 movies, produced 4 movies and written 2 movies (that I’ve made at home!).

Working Together

Today we had a problem to solve in Maths - Capacity & Volume.
We had to make a 3D regular shape of 25 cubic cm using centicube blocks.

When we tried it individually, we couldn’t work it out. We tried and tried.
BUT
When we worked together in a group, we shared our ideas and came up with a solution!

Here’s what we came up with - one of the shapes is irregular and two are regular. Can you see which is which?
