Author visits Us!
Have you read “Naughty Stories for Good Boys and Girls” or “Scary Stories for Brave Boys and Girls”, ? If you haven’t, then look for them in your nearest Library; even though they sound bad or unpleasant, they are actually very funny and entertaining.
Author Christopher Milne read one of his stories (Wheelchair Wally)to us today and then told us about his life and how he started writing for children. He told us that he had to keep trying to get his work published and to pursue your dreams whatever happens. Christopher persevered even when he wanted to give up and he has now won a Book Award – The Young Australians Best Book Award.
Some people bought copies of his books and Christopher signed them for us. We thought that the stories were incredibly interesting even though they were very short. We are glad that the author came to visit!

we had a author in our school a couple of weeks ago called Keith A.Charters. sandy looked very cool in that picutre.Im glad sandy is keeping up on his reading.
