The time we spend on our blogs tends to vary each week. We generally read through our blog and check on the linked blogs together as a class a couple of times a week (a bit of "not-so-silent-reading!?!). We have about an hour a week (maximum) to put our writing onto our own blogs. We may already have drafts of what we want to say in our writing books, sometimes we just pick bits out of what we already have written, and sometimes we just compose on the post as we go.
