Congratulations to the AllStar athletics representatives.
They spent a beautiful day yesterday running, jumping, throwing, hurling and having fun out of school.
They all performed to the max and should be proud that they had the opportunity to be part of this carnival.
I competed in the shot put and discus and running. I had to run 200 metres but I didn’t place. Josh
In the 200 metre running heat I came first and the finals are next week. I also won the Junior Girls long jump with a jump of 3.15 metres. I will go to the regional carnival for long jump
Naomi
I competed in the Senior Girls long jump – I didn’t ask how far I jumped, but I didn’t make it to the next level.
Nancy
I did the discus at the carnival – the disc is a particular weight and you have to throw it the furthest distance. I didn’t manage to throw it very far.
Gloria
I jumped in the high jump – I jumped one metre high, but the others jumped even higher.

G’day Allstars,
I am the new Primary 7 teacher at Sandiag Primary and Mr Johnston has just introduced me to your blog…It’s Great.
It’s great to see you all being so active. We’ve not really got the best weather in Scotland for going outside to do sports so we mostly have to do it inside.
For sports this term we’re playing Badminton…it’s great and everyone in P7 loves it. We’ve got swimming, gymnastics, Scottish dancing and fitness all to look forward too.

Hello Mr McKean and welcome to blogging. Are you new to Sandaig – or just to P6?
Could you tell us a bit about Scottish dancing please – we are not really sure exactly what it is
We all enjoy our sports here – our favourite class ballgame is Dodgeball – MrsP says we would play it all dat every day if we had our way
She’s right – we would
Thanks for visiting, call and comment agin. We will check and see what you are getting up to with your P6 class!
@Courtney – hello, what do you think about your new class? Do you like blogging? We will check out your blog as soon as our network is working properly again
@NatNat – Thanks for your positive comments – its important that people try their best and “give it a go” don’t you think?
