This morning visitors from the Ministry of Education in Singapore came to look at how we use technology at our school.

We showed them our blog and the work we do on the internet:

  • Our clustr map – where people come from to visit our blog
  • Our fantasy creature writing
  • Our Basic Skills Tests
  • Our Small World projects – technology, design, art, writing
  • “Math Hunt” maths site
  • Individual blogs and comments
  • Toondoo – what it is and what we do with it

The visitors wrote down our blog address and promised they would visit when they returned to Singapore so we could get a red dot on our clustr map from Singapore.

Today was the second day of the BST (Basic Skills Test). Everyone had to do reading, language and maths.

Sandy, our otter from Sandaig Primary School in Glasgow, had a go at doing the test as well   :)

She was happy with her efforts, tried as hard as she could, enjoyed the experience but is glad that it is over for another year.

Here are some photos we took of our clever otter friend
