We’ve started training for our cross country carnival that will be held in May.

We huff and puff through two laps of the oval, and we time ourselves so that we can get faster and faster!

Sandy is showing the most improvement so far - she has wiped two minutes off her times already!

 Well done everone else - keep trying and improving your times     ;)

    Hi Miss P!
    Now that was a …. BLAST!
    I was really exhausted when coming to that run! I wiped off 20 seconds and i am so proud of myself.
    I hope everyone will do better, HEAPS better, and also that we will be fit and strong for the Cross Country.
    Can’t wait for the next one though. Can you believe it? I got exhausted but still had fun!? It’s true!

    Hi MrsP!
    The comment by Miss Kristhenthal was actually mine. It was just because my sister had accidently written Krisenthal and i couldn’t log out! :(
    So, that was all my comment. I’M SO SORRY MISS!
    But i did wipe off 20 seconds. I’m so proud of myself. :)
    Sorry again miss Pericles, i just want you to know it was a true accident and mix up. :(

    Hi Mrs P
    It is so tiring!I cant believe that i actually improved a minute and something seconds :)
    WOW
    I reckon that every one tried hard to actually finish 500m! (mrgreen)

    Bye Bye!!

    Hi Allstars :D

    Whoa! That was pretty hard and tiring the first time but then the second and third time it was pretty good! Between the first and second time I got fifty-two seconds improvement but then between the second and third time I only got two seconds improvement :(
    But it doesn’t matter, because, after all it was still an improvement and I finished the laps AND I got a pretty big improvement the last time!

    Bye!!

    Natalie

    Hi,
    @Anna and Isabella,
    Yeah, Sandy did make a massive improvment!
    Well, it is only 0.5 km, but it seems longer. :-)
    Sandy took 1.40 seconds last week, but she hasn’t done it this week yet. Well, the fastest time was 1.39 seconds and the slowest time was 4.40 seconds.
    Does your school have a cross country?
    @Lout5,
    Your gran is right, Australia is beautiful. Thanks for being so kind.
    Have you ever been to Australia?
    @Krisenthal,
    Thats really great that you had lots of fun, even though you got exhausted. You should be proud of yourself.
    What was your time?
    Naomi :mrgreen:

    Hi MrsP i like doing the endurance run.
    I can’t believe i have ran half a Kilometre in two minutes.
    do you think you could run that fast?

  12. avatar Clement on April 2nd, 2008 8:31 pm

    Hi Allstars,

    I haven’t visited the blog for a long time. It sure has changed alot. Talking about the cross country, it was held in our school last week. Half of the year 7’s ran, and I was one of them. We had to run 4 Kilometres. It was long and hard, I stopped alot as well. I nearly got lost because we went through a forest but my friend was right behind me and he told me where to go. I came 35th out of 60, I was pretty slow, my friend said he didn’t even stop the whole way, he just kept running and he came 9th.
