This week we have used Mario & Sonic at the Olympics to write some poetry. We used the characters to write colour poems.

First we discussed how the characters were different colours, and how their colours reflected their personality .

Then we thought about the colours themselves, and how each colour looked, felt, smelled, the emotions it evoked, the tastes it reminded us of.

Lastly we put both aspects together and wrote poems that showed how the colour and the character  linked together to really show what the characters were like.

We think some of the imagery we used was pretty good!
