Everything seems big here!

There are monuments everywhere, huge buildings with columns, wide footpaths, and even wider roads!

This is the railway station!!!!

And this is a statue outside the station:

Do you know the name of this iconic landmark?

What is it called and what happens inside it?

Hi Logan – thanks so much for commenting on our blog. The picture is actually of the Capitol Building and not the White House. (The White House is down the road a little bit, and you’re right President Barack Obama lives there) The Capitol is the place where all the elected representativesof the government meet and work.
This is what wikipedia says: “The United States Capitol is the meeting place of the United States Congress, the legislature of the federal government of the United States.”
