The students seem to enjoy using the blocks and have had to think hard to find the correct answers. Working with a friend is very popular because we know that “two heads are better than one!”

If you have a look at the photos you will see that the kids look like they are enjoying their Maths!

Ingredients:
A variety of fruits & veges
Grains and breads
Meats and protein
Good fats
Water
Regular exercise
Love

Procedure
1. Eat a variety of fresh foods
2. Drink plenty of water
3. Exercise at least 60 minutes
4. Mix with family and friends
5. Sleep at least 6 hours a night
6. Relax and de-stress
7. Laugh lots and be happy

Students from across the world set the pace!

Nadine from the AllStars and Stephie from Argentina have been commenting on each other’s blog for a while now, and have become friends with a shared concern.

With the help of Stephie’s teacher, they have set up a wiki called “Stop Whaling Now”. The girls have decided to mount a campaign to stop whaling. Have a look at their wiki and leave a comment, or join their fight.

We were discussing, planning, making and then setting up and taking photos for this month’s task on numbers. Great fun, great learning, great teamwork!

It was great to see the “old” AllStars tutoring the “new” AllStars in the computer room today!  

Lots of important information, terrific tips and helpful hints about blogging were passed on to the newer students so that they can get their own blogs up and running as soon as possible.    

Now that everyone knows how to leave comments on blogs we can look forward to some interesting and (hopefully)  thought provoking discussions  taking place.

We have learnt so much this year, and it is because of “you”. We have blogged because of “you”, we have reflected because of “you” we have shared the events, the fun, the learning, the laughs, the thinking, the working and the people who work in and visit our class.

“You” have made a wonderful difference to how we learn in our room.

“You” have helped us think about our learning, how we do things, why we do things, and how we can learn and work even better and harder.

“You” have shared so much with us – thank you for your comments, your thoughts, your questions, your ideas, your blogs and most importantly your friendship.

We are on holidays now so our blog may be a little idle – but we will be back again in February.
