Fun and Olympic Games
Begin …..
Everyone has already chosen a country that is participating in the Olympics to investigate and explore.
Do some reading about your country to understand where it is and some interesting things about its people and culture.
On your large piece of paper construct the flag of your country and write about the significance of the design and colours.
Now for the fun part …… choose one or two of the following activities:

Team song

Invent an Olympic game/sport that represents the culture of your country

Create/design an Olympic torch that represents the culture of your country Create/design a team uniform

Create/design team merchandise - towels, hats, wavers etc

Create/design gold, silver, bronze medals that represents the culture of your country

Make a sculpture/ model of an artefact or object that represents the culture of your country

Use native flowers or culturally significant objects to create/design a wreath/bouquet/soft toy to present to winners at the Olympic Games

Nothing in the list that inspires you? Then come up with your own ideas and create/design something special for your country at the Olympics.
