  1. Hi AllStars & Mrs P,
I personally think that forgiveness is the most important one of all those four important values.
    Why?
Because I think that is we didn’t have forgiveness then no-one would be friends. If you accidentally did something bad, no-one would ever want to talk to you again. Instead of thinking of all the bad things we do to each other; I think we should focus on the good side of things.
    Bye,

    Hi,
I believe all of the words are very important.
Though, I believe contentment is the most important word. I chose it because to me it means resting and relaxing and feeling happy and cheerful. It is important to relax after working hard. It’s also very important to feel cheerful and a little bit of carefreeness.
My definition for tolerance is giving people chances and letting them get on with what they really want to do. It’s important because it’s letting other people do what they enjoy doing and giving other people chances.
Forgiveness is like tolerance though it’s a slight bit different.
Compassion means being intrested and having a bit of hope. Compassion is also having passion in something.

These are important words that you are discussing. I believe that contentment is a gift and is very important. If you have that you are likely to live a happier life. Not everyone is lucky enough to have it but I wonder if it can be developed?

I think tolerance is the most important because tolerance means that you let people do their best in life and just to live their lives. You can’t judge people for their skin colour or their religion or beliefs. It also means to respect other people even those you don’t know.

I think the most important value is tolerance. The reason I chose this value is because it means alot to me and it should mean alot to everyone. If we can understand each other’s differences, we can understand each other. If we talk to each other every day we will understand each other better.

  7. Thanks for your thoughts everybody, its hard to choose between each value isn’t it?
Yasmine mentioned understanding our differences helps us to understand each other which is very true.Talking to each other is a great way to learn that people have a lot in common.
Having respect for yourself and others will probably come about by getting to know the people “underneath” the religion or the skin colour or the nationality or the beliefs, just as Rania mentioned. What do you think?
Mrs Campbell-Morgan what a good discussion starter – can contentment be dveloped or grown – we will get back to you on that one 😉
Celia & Naomi – thanks for your thoughts. You’re thinking is clear and you backed up your opinions with reasons that made sense. Well done – a star each 🙂

I believe that forgiveness is the most important, because without forgiveness people would only think about the negative side of things. The earth would be dull, there would be no happiness or friendship on earth without forgiveness. You should also forgive people even if they are mistaken. You should have a symbiotic relationship with everyone you know so you can promote peace and forgiveness.
    Nada.
