Flip Animations

Standard

We had fun this afternoon working on some flip animations with Ms Locke. She showed us some examples first, then we spent most of the afternoon drawing our own flip books.

There were flowers, weapons, clocks, kids, skipping, sports and landscapes. Lots of ideas and lots of people thinking “outside the box”.

Here are some photos of what we have done so far:

  1. There are some cool ways to animate like this on the computers at school. One is a program called Stickman Animator (or something like that). The other way I know is using PowerPoint. You make the first slide with your starting picture, then copy the slide and move or change the slide a little bit, copy the new slide, change a bit more, and keep going. Then, change the settings so it changes automatically without clicking, and you have a simple animation. Good luck if you decide to give it a go 🙂
