Our school athletics carnival will be held on 13th August so we have a few weeks of training to get all of our moves right for the big day! Last Friday we tried out the High Jump and Discus throw during sport time.

One discus actually ended up in the tree – thanks to GB for climbing the tree and getting it down. Just think – we can only get better!

Wow that looks like a lot of work.I can hardly throw a discuss !! We have a day like this where the whole school has a Sports Day and we compete in different colours against eachother. This year I was the Red captian. We came last:(

Saja is captain of our blue house and William is captain of our yellow house this year. They will have to get everyone organised at the carnival this year too. Bad luck at coming last this year 🙁 – better luck next year though!
Erin, some of us feel doubtful when competing as well – We guess that you just have to keep trying and believing in yourself 🙂
