We like to play Silent Ball in our class.
Here is how we play it:
AIM: to catch and throw the ball around the classroom – the last person standing is the winner.
- If you talk you are out.
- You throw the ball to each other.
- You cannot move places or you are out.
- If you drop the ball you are out.
- If you throw badly you are out.
- To make it harder – do one hand catches!

Hey
Your Blog is great
We play silent ball in class to!
I realy like this game so I am now going to tell my teacher about it. I hope you guys keep on playing it because it is fun.
bye bye.
Our class sometimes plays silent ball too. But in our game we can’t:
throw the ball to someone on the same table as you
or
you can make them stand on one foot to make it even HARDER! 🙂
When our class plays Silent ball we always try to make it harder by spinning after you throw or standing on one leg.
The Clever Cookies love this game too! Sometimes they think they only get to play it because the teacher wants some peace and quiet for a few minutes. But that would be really sneaky right? It’s a good thing the game is so much fun!
Thomas13 – That’s really tricky! Good tip 🙂 Thanks we will definitely try this!
Erin – That would definitely make it harder – but check out what they do in Thomas13’s class! Maybe they are dancers ;-0
Kyle there have been some other adaptations suggested by kids from other schools who play Silent Ball too – there are some other tricky tips to make the game even better! Check them out in the comments above and below 🙂
