Here are some photos of us all “getting to know” each other today.
We were talking about co-operation: what it means, what it is, and what it looks like when you do it!
We played an activity called “Stand Up”, and all we had to do was stand up with a partner. The trick, of course, was that we were sitting back to back with our arms entwined.
What we discovered was that to be successful each pair had to co-operate with each other and work together to stand up. It was not as easy as you might think!
Eventually everyone realised that co-opearation made the job possible, and some groups went on to try and stand with 3, 4 and even 5 people in their group.
Well done all 🙂
I think it was hard at first, but after I got used to it.I think that all we had to do is push hard on our backs and help each other to stand up.But we had to do it at the same time. 🙄
Hello Cindy
I’m glad you enjoyed the activity – and you are so right – you had to work together at the same time 🙂
Hi
Your co-operation capers look like great fun. It must have been fun to take part in such inventive activities. Your teacher must have a great imagination. We hope you are settling in well in your new class and look forward to finding out what you are doing this year in class.
